  1. Place the Windows Vista DVD in your DVD Rom drive to start the installation process.
  2. Next select your Language, Time, and Keyboard.
  3. Once you have chosen the above options click “Next”.
  4. Now you are ready to install Windows Vista so click the “Install Now”.
  5. When prompt for the Product key just ignore it and be sure to “Uncheck Automatically activate Windows when I’m online”.
  6. Now click Next.
  7. Be sure to click on “No,” to confirm you do not want to enter the Windows Vista’s product key at this time.
  8. Now select the version of Windows Vista you want to install. For evaluation purposes, you’re going to want to select the Windows Vista Version you have purchased.  Reason: If you decide you like the new Windows Vista, and decide to keep using it you will have to enter the product key at the end of the 30 day trial.
  9. Now click “Next,” and put a check to accept the license and terms of the vendor and click “Next” again.
  10. Now sit back and let Windows Vista complete the installation and configuration of your system.

Now complete the installation as normal, once done explore and try your new Windows Vista out to see if its right for you.
