How to Prevent Changes to File Associations

It prevents users from changing any file associations on your computer, even if they install new image editing software or media players it will keep your file associations the same.
How to lock file Associations on your computer
- Go to Start - > Run and type Regedit
- Use the “+” sign on the left of the Registry editor to navigate to the following
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies \ Explore
- Right click on the right hand side and select Create REG_DWORD data type NoFileAssociate
- Then give it a value of 1.
