The Master Boot Record contains the partition information for your systems hard drive and determines which partition is bootable. When you first start your computer, it’s the Master Boot record that makes the initial post request and determines the state of your computer and loads the appropriate drives and devices.

By default Windows will not sort your Start Menu or Favorites in order. There’s nothing more annoying then creating your computer sign in name with alphanumeric characters, and having to keep hitting your numlock key on your keyboard every time you wish to use you’re number pad.
Thats because Windows XP sets your numlock to off everytime you shutdown or reboot your computer instead of leaving it on.
