As a convenience Internet Explorer stores a cache of URLS you have visited or typed in to your address bar.  These URLS are also stored in the browsers history file.

However is your list is getting rather long and you wish to clear the list of entries simply follow the steps below.

1. Open your browser and Go to Tools -> Internet Options
2. Click on the Content tab
3. Click on the AutoComplete button
4. Highlight ‘Web Addresses’
5. Click on Clear Forms
