Annoying beeping sound - How to turn off System Beeps

So when shutting down or rebooting you hear a beeping sound. Sometimes this beeping sound can be heard when you are closing an application or recieve a computer error as well.

To stop this annoying beep follow the below instructions
- Go to Start -> Run -> Type — Regedit and click OK
- Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Sound
- Edit the key Beep and set the value to No

I agree with shawn.one more thing, you saying that beep sound annoying so i have to turn off.In case your monitor is not getting sufficient power, if you switch of your beep sound you can’t identify the fault whether it is in cpu or monitor…..So for this purpose we need the beep sound..
