Registry Tips, Windows Vista Tips Posted by Shawn DesRochers November 14th, 2008Just like previous versions of Windows, certain system files are hidden. Even with the Folder options configured to show hidden files, there are super hidden files in Windows Vista that you still can’t see.
To enable the supper hidden files in Windows Vista, follow the below steps.
To view them:
1. Go to Start -> Run -> Regedit
2. Now Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ Advanced
3. In the right hand panel, scroll to SuperHidden
4. Change the value to 1
5. Reboot your computer
You should now see the super hidden files!
