Windows Users Reporting IPCONFIG Error
Networking Tips, Windows XP Tips Posted by Shawn DesRochers April 7th, 2009I was contacted through my contact form from 2 users experiencing this error and its quiet common if you just upgraded your network card drivers or installed a third party firewall.
When l run IPCONFIG I get the following error:
An internal error occured: The request is not supported.
Please contact Microsoft Product Support Services for further help. Additional information: Unable to query routing information

You need to copy a clean TCPIP.SYS file from your Windows XP installation Disk to the following windows directory
C:\windows\system32\drivers\ directory
Then reboot your computer.
Or download the Windows XP tcpip.sys file by clicking here
