Sharing Contacts with Outlook Express and Microsoft Outlook

If you are like me and use multiple email programs to handle different task you may find this one very useful.

If you want to have both Outlook Express and Outlook use the same contact list follow the instructions after the read more!

  1. Go to Start-> Run and type ->Regedit and hit OK!
  2.  Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER / Software / Microsoft / WAB / WAB4
  3.  On the right side, right click and add a new DWORD key called UseOutlook
  4. Give it a value of 1

Now when either the Address Book in Outlook Express or the Contacts in Microsoft Outlook are changed, each will update the other.
